This review is for to go orders only as I have not personally sat there and eat. The tortas are delicious, I would say the best ones around! Horchata is also very good. This place never dissapoints

I don't know how this place has 3 stars. It's a sad excuse for a restuarant. The tortas were mediocre for the 7-8 bucks that they cost. My cooking sucks and I make way better tortas.

The "milanesa" was as flat as a piece of ham, the little bit of shredded lettuce they put in it was old looking, the guacamole tasted kind of stale. It was a little brown. I didn't find NO flavor in it at all. Even the jalapenos in vinegar were so bland not even spicy.

I am so angry we ever stopped to eat here. On top of it, My husband and I got food poisoning from it. We will be contacting Health Inspector because someone needs to see what kind of cooking conditions are going on in here.

    STAY AWAY.

I like the food, but the service isn't worth it. First, they only had one person who spoke English which is fine for people who are bilingual but I am not. This comes with miscommunication and they wouldn't be able to take my order. So far warning if you speak English it will be hard to order. Next they charged me for more tacos. I only ordered 2 Asada and 2 pastor in Spanish (sister-in-law speaks Spanish) so no miscommunication but they charged me for 3 extra asada tacos I did not want. Next, I had to practically hunt for my order. I ordered a drink and I watched them do it from my table so I knew it was mine ahead but once it was done they just set it there and did not even call my name.
I assumed they would call it with my food but the people behind me who ordered drinks had their names called while mine completely ignored. So I was starting to get irritated, I got up and I was right, It was indeed mine. So I picked that up didn't say anything it was a drink and my patience was still high. However, an hour goes by and my food was still not ready. So we asked them if our food was ready and she asked our number but never actually asked the cook or question where our food was. So finally my sister in law went to the cook and asked him where my food was. That have been here an hour and our lunch was already over. Their excuse was it's Sunday it's busy. Now I also own my own business and I understand busy. It was not and the cook himself was standing there looking around like he had nothing to do. Obviously it isn't that busy if you have time to stand there and do nothing. I ended up getting my order like 5mins after we complained. It took only five mins for them to make it but made us wait 1 for nothing wasted my time and my lunch time for nothing.
Lastly, the food. They food I don't have much to complain about. It's good and I liked it. My pastor though I didn't even know that's what it was because of how burnt it looked, I just thought it was asada.
So take it how you will but I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other food restaurants around me to eat at.

Deciding between giving a 3 or 4 star rating was a bit of a tough call. Ultimately I felt that if I was torn between the 2 then it wasn't really all that. This is one of those cases where "it wasn't that it was bad, it just wasn't that good". The customer service was ok and the dining room was nice and clean. 35 bucks for what I got just seemed like too much.

My wife and I ordered 2 number 30's, Tortas Fontana. The bread was nice and soft, which, I'm pleasantly surprised about because a lot of places get that wrong. The carne asada was ok, I've had better asada but I've also had worse. The rest of the torta was ok, not much to really wow over. My remaining order was 2 agua frescas (9 bucks for 2 large drinks is too much) and a crepe to go.

The crepe was mediocre, you can definitely get better elsewhere. So I go back to paying 35 bucks for food that was ok. I'm sorry but if I'm paying that kind of money for 2 people and 5 items, I expect better.
